This site's own accessibility statement

What we have done

• Every page is built with semantic landmarks, one h1, a skip link and a visible focus style.
• Body text is 18px serif with a line height of at least 1.5; data and form text is at least 16px; labels are at least 14px.
• Colour is never the only way information is conveyed. The date correction and the warnings are text.
• The scope check works with a keyboard, uses native form controls and announces its result with a polite live region.
• Targets are at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels, and primary buttons are at least 44px high.
• There is no autoplay, carousel or moving content, and the page respects the reduced-motion setting.
• The layout is tested at 320px and 390px wide with no horizontal page overflow.

Known limitations

• The paid kit's PDF is generated by our own builder and is not a tagged PDF. The same register is delivered as CSV and XLSX, and the full text is on this site in HTML, so the PDF is not the only route to the content. We are working on a tagged version.
• The site has not had a third-party accessibility audit. The checks above are our own and the automated audit we run before each release.
• The hero photograph has a text alternative that describes the scene; the decorative credit tag is text, not an image.
• Stripe Checkout is operated by Stripe and is outside this site's templates. Its accessibility is governed by Stripe.

Conformance status

We aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA. We do not claim full conformance, because a self-assessment without a third-party audit cannot establish it, and because the PDF limitation above is real. We will correct any barrier reported to us and date the correction here.
